The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 7 and 9.

We assist students NAPLAN preparation to achieve better results. NAPLAN is useful in highlighting key areas of difficulty for students which can then be a focus area of learning at our centre. NAPLAN assesses students on:

• reading

• writing

• language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation)

• numeracy

We provide mock NAPLAN exams (to help encourage familiarity and ease nerves) and sample questions to prepare students for their impending exams.

Recent Government reforms have placed an even stronger focus on NAPLAN in High Schools around the state from 2020.  This means that students in Year 9 from 2017 will be able to meet the standard by achieving a Band 8 in NAPLAN's reading, writing and numeracy. This will be achieved through an online test.
